CHRISTMAS HANDMADE FAYRE

Towcester Handmade Fayre’s aim is to offer customers a wide range of quality HANDMADE products created locally by talented artisans. They curate each event to give friendly, creative and unique handmade businesses a platform to shine. Visitors get a chance to hear the stories and passion as they meet these talented makers.

THE BIG CHRISTMAS QUIZ

Saturday 7th December doors open at 6:00pm quiz starts at 6:30pm Brackley Library

It's back! The Big Christmas Quiz at the library, raising money for a new library fridge freezer and for Brackley Community Museum.

With rounds celebrating the festive season and of course Festive Kazooney Tunes. A prize every round!

Spot prize for the most festive team! Teams of up to 6 people. £5 per person.
Table nibbles provided but do bring your own refreshments and extra food if needed.

LILYPAD CHRISTMAS FAIR

Sunday 8th December 11:00am – 2:00pm Lilypad Day Nursery, Halse Road

Lilypad Day Nursery would love you to join them for a festive fun filled Christmas fair. Crafts, glitter tattoos, local stalls, festive treats and Santa will be in his grotto! They will also be holding a charity raffle raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital



FOLK AT THE MILL

Join Towcester Mill for their 2nd Sunday of the Month afternoon folk session with Jenkinson's Folly! Phil Thurman (Guitars, Bouzouki, Vocals) and Sophie Thurman (Cello, Whistles, Vocals) are a Towcester based folk duo - who with their co-hosts and fellow musicians Paul, Lis, Pete, and Anne,
Held in the Steam Room on the first floor - there is a lift. They're a welcoming bunch and would love you to join them with your instruments and voices, or just your ears to enjoy the relaxed ambience of a bit of live music on a chilled Sunday afternoon



CHRISTMAS TRACTOR RUN

Sunday 8th December from 6:00pm Route around Brackley

Once more, the Town Council will be raising money for the charity Yellow Wellies. Yellow Wellies is an award-winning charity that supports the physical and mental well-being of UK farmers. In 2023, they raised £3,284.00. Incredible! But can they do even better this year, Brackley? 

They hope to bring you between 50-100 tractors who will participate by decorating their tractors with lights, tinsel, and other Christmas decorations. Spectators gather along the route to watch the parade of tractors pass by – please give them a wave as they drive past! 

The tractor run will begin at 6 pm and covers a predetermined route through the town. More details will be announced on Brackley Town Council website and social media as we head into December.



CHRISTMAS FAIR

Saturday 14th December 12:30pm – 3:45pm WI and GG Hall, Brackley

Come and join in for a festive fun afternoon and last minute Christmas shopping with local craft stalls, a tombola and face painter.



VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS MARKET

Saturday 14th December 4:30pm – 7:30pm Brackley Library

The Friends of Brackley Library invite you to their Victorian Christmas Market for some last minute gift buying from their amazing craft stalls and purchasing some tasty home made treats.
There will even be a visit from Father Christmas!

Entrance is £4 which will include mulled wine/hot drink and a mince pie/sausage roll.
Under 12 are free!

Harry Pane is back at The Bell for great music and entertainment!



CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY CAROL SERVICE

Sunday 22nd December 6:00pm – 7:00pm The Piazza

From 6 pm, on the Piazza, Brackley Town Council invite you to join Brackley Town Mayor, Cllr Elaine Wiltshire, Brackley Town councillors and council staff to sing Christmas carols outside of the Town Hall and under the lights of the Christmas trees. Refreshments will be available, and song sheets will be provided for everyone to join in the community singing.
