RARE PLANT FAIR

Saturday 21st March 10:00am – 4:00pm Evenley Wood Garden

Set amongst the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, this unique 60-acre, private garden set within a woodland contains a large and notable collection of plants ranging from unusual trees and shrubs, to a wide range of selected lilies and other bulbs.

The garden’s unusual band of acid soil, in this otherwise predominantly alkaline area, provides the opportunity to cultivate plants such as rhododendrons, camellias and magnolias, which would not ordinarily thrive in this location. From the emergence of the first snowdrops, right through to its wonderful autumn hues, there’s something for all to see throughout the seasons in Evenley Wood Garden.
Head Gardener Dan Winter will be on site throughout the day to answer any questions you may have about the garden, volunteering or getting involved.

As part of this he will be offering 2 free guided walks around the garden at 11:30am and 2pm. If you would like to take part please meet at the café at 11:30am or 2pm. Tours take approximately an hour.

Admission: Adults £9.50. Children aged 4-16 £2.00. Admission includes the Fair and Garden.

Evenley Wood Season Ticket Holders free.

Please note that no other concessions are valid on the day of the Fair.

Buy your tickets on arrival at the gate - no need to prebook!
