A new group specifically for those affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia (and their carers).

Come and relax in a quiet corner and enjoy some companionship over a cuppa and cake.

A craft/reminiscence activity will be available.

This group runs on the first Wednesday of the month at Brackley Care Home and the third Wednesday of the month at Brackley Library.

A barn dance on Friday, Harry Pane at a couple of local pubs over the weekend and the Blackbird at Croughton reopens! These weekly lists are getting busier! A lovely way to get into the festive spirit and look for a few novel Christmas presents.



FESTIVE FAYRE

Join Brackley Care Home and Mayor, Cllr Bernie Tiller for an afternoon of festive family fun to raise money for B-Yourself, The Mayor’s Charity.

Lots to do as there will be a flea circus, Punch and Judy show, Santa, a raffle, craft stalls and they will be rounding off with Christmas songs

Brackley sea cadets take kids from 9-18 all for £20 a month.
In the sea cadets they spend their winter learning all sorts of specialised training as well as being taught commitment, respect and responsibility. In the summer they go boating every week where they teach the kids sailing, rowing, paddlesport and power boating and they can gain many internationally recognised qualifications.

CHRISTMAS MARKET, LIGHTS & LANTERNS

Saturday 29 November Market from 15:00 | Parade at 17:15 | Light Switch on at 17:30 Brackley Town Centre

Nestled in the heart of town, this festive celebration transforms the Piazza into a wonderland of twinkling lights and seasonal cheer.

From 3 pm, on the Piazza and Market Place car park, there will be a range of community group activities, craft stalls, home goods and festive food all supplied from local traders. The lantern parade will be led by none other than Father Christmas himself and The Mayor of Brackley, Cllr Bernie Tiller.

The lantern parade will gather at Winchester House at 4:45 pm and commence at 5:15 pm. The parade will slowly walk down the High Street and finish just in front of the War Memorial where the Christmas lights will be switched on at 5:30 pm.

This year marks our fifth Brackley Christmas Tractor Run, now a firm favourite in the BTC events calendar! Once again, we’ll be raising money for Yellow Wellies, the award-winning charity supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of UK farmers. Last year, they raised an incredible £3901! … can they top that in 2025, Brackley?

They’re aiming for 50–100 tractors, decked out in lights, tinsel, and festive decorations. Spectators line the route to enjoy the magical parade – don’t forget to give them a wave!

The run starts at 6 pm and follows a set route through town. Full details will be shared on our website and social channels as December approaches.

Brackley sea cadets take kids from 9-18 all for £20 a month.
In the sea cadets they spend their winter learning all sorts of specialised training as well as being taught commitment, respect and responsibility. In the summer they go boating every week where they teach the kids sailing, rowing, paddlesport and power boating and they can gain many internationally recognised qualifications.

BRACKLEY SEA CADETS

Every Monday 6:45pm – 9:00pm Brackley Bowls Club

Brackley sea cadets take kids from 9-18 all for £20 a month.
In the sea cadets they spend their winter learning all sorts of specialised training as well as being taught commitment, respect and responsibility. In the summer they go boating every week where they teach the kids sailing, rowing, paddlesport and power boating and they can gain many internationally recognised qualifications.

Sunday 21 December from 6:00pm Brackley Piazza

From 6 pm, on the Piazza, Brackley Town Council invite you to join Brackley Town Mayor, Cllr Bernie Tiller, councillors and council staff to sing Christmas carols outside of the Town Hall and under the lights of the Christmas trees. Refreshments will be available and song sheets provided for everyone to join in the community singing.
