BRACKLEY FIREWORKS SPONSORED BY MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS FORMULA 1 TEAM

Saturday 2nd November Gates open at 5:00pm St John Site, Magdalen College School

Brackley is gearing up for its annual spectacular free-entry fireworks display, proudly sponsored by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team.The event promises to be an unforgettable evening of family fun and entertainment. The display will be held at St John Site, Magdalen College School (bottom site) and gates will open at 5 pm.

A range of delicious hot food and drink stalls will be available to keep you warm, with a fantastic range of local community stall activities for the children to enjoy. The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team's show car will also be on display, and members from the team will be in attendance to talk about the car and raise vital funds for their Official Team Charity Partner 2024 – 2025, Mind, via collection buckets at the gates Ensure you don't miss the pre-show entertainment – the LED drummers are returning this year! The fifteen-minute firework display will start at 7 pm. This event is always popular, so arriving early is best to secure a good viewing spot.

BRACKLEY HISTORY SOCIETY

Brackley History Society’s meeting theme this month is “Ellis Island”, a talk by Graham Irvine. Come along to find out more!

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE AND PARADE

Sunday 10th November 2:30pm from Winchester House

The Brackley Remembrance Service and Parade is an important event in the town's calendar, held annually to remember and honour those who have given their lives in service to their country. This year's parade and service will take place on Sunday, 10  November.

The parade will start at 2:30 pm from Winchester House and proceed down High Street. At 3 pm, a service of Remembrance will take place, followed by wreath-laying at Brackley War Memorial. 



FOLK AT THE MILL

Join Towcester Mill for their 2nd Sunday of the Month afternoon folk session with Jenkinson's Folly! Phil Thurman (Guitars, Bouzouki, Vocals) and Sophie Thurman (Cello, Whistles, Vocals) are a Towcester based folk duo - who with their co-hosts and fellow musicians Paul, Lis, Pete, and Anne,
Held in the Steam Room on the first floor - there is a lift. They're a welcoming bunch and would love you to join them with your instruments and voices, or just your ears to enjoy the relaxed ambience of a bit of live music on a chilled Sunday afternoon




BRACKLEY LITTER WOMBLES COMMUNITY LITTER PICK

Help Brackley Litter Wombles keep our town clean and join in. Today’s womble is revisiting Tesco and giving that area a good clean before Christmas.

All ages and abilities welcome. Please wear sensible footwear. Equipment will be provided.
