MEMORY CAFE

Wednesday 16th April 2:00pm – 4:00pm Brackley Library

A new group specifically for those affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia (and their carers).

Come and relax in a quiet corner and enjoy some companionship over a cuppa and cake.

A craft/reminiscence activity will be available.

This group runs on the first Wednesday of the month at Brackley Care Home and the third Wednesday of the month at Brackley Library. For more details contact Julie Wilson on 01280 313135


BRACKLEY HISTORY SOCIETY

Wednesday 2nd April from 7:30pm Brackley Methodist Church

Brackley History Society’s monthly talk. The theme this month is “Child labour in the 19th Century”, a talk by Liz Woolley. Come along to find out more!

A MUSICAL EVENING WITH GLEE OF BRACKLEY

Thursday 3rd April from 7:30pm St Peter’s Church, Brackley

St Peter’s Church present a wonderful evening of music.

It is a free event but they will be raising money for St Peter’s Church, Blood Cancer UK, and Brain Tumour Awareness.


CRAFTERNOON AT THE LIBRARY

Friday 4th April 2:00pm – 4:00pm Brackley Library

Come along to the fortnightly crafting group at Brackley library. Bring your own craft and join fellow creators for an afternoon of company and conversation. A craft will be available to try if you don’t have your own or have just turned up for some company. Refreshments provided. This event is sponsored by Beautifully Different Brackley (No Crafternoon on 18th April as it’s Good Friday)


BRACKLEY LITTER WOMBLES COMMUNITY LITTER PICK

Saturday 5th April 10:00am – 12:00noon meet at the setting down point outside Tesco

Help Brackley Litter Wombles keep our town clean and join in. Today’s womble is revisiting Big Tesco as there’s always litter dropped around the shrubs outside and blue gloves to be found.

All ages and abilities welcome. Please wear sensible footwear. Equipment will be provided.


BOARD GAMES NIGHT

Saturday 5th April from 5:00pm Barnowl Farm Shop

Barnowl Farm Shop will be hosting free to join board Game Nights, upstairs in their Learning Loft. Starting from 5pm. Feel free to bring a favoured Board Game you wish to play with others.

There will be a mini bar for you to order drinks and snacks.

QUIZ NIGHT AT THE LIBRARY!

Saturday 5th April Doors open at 6:30pm, quiz starts at 7:00pm Brackley Library

The library’s Big Christmas Quiz was so popular, that they are back with an Easter one!

8 general knowledge rounds including the infamous kazoo round. A prize every round.

£5 per person and teams of up to 6 people. Some table snacks are provided but please bring your own refreshments and extra snacks.

NATURE WARRIOR SPRING EVENT

Monday 7th April 10:00am -12:00noon Brackley Library

Join the library for a fun creative morning.

*Make your own beautiful butterfly feed to attract colourful visitors to your garden

*Plant sunflower seeds to grow a stunning flower to feed birds, bees and insects

*Decorate wildflower seed packets and start your own little wildflower haven.

£3 for all 3 activities. All ages welcome. Parental supervision required for under 8s.

BITE CLUB

Friday 11th April 5:00pm – 9:00pm Egerton Hall, Brackley

Bite Club pop up returns for its monthly visit of great street food, drinks and music. The deal is simple, come hungry, leave happy. (Bite Club is every second Friday of the month until the end of the year)


MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY

Sunday 13th April 10:00am – 3:00pm Brackley Town Football Club

Support local teams in a 5-a-side football tournament and test yourself on games equipment. With stalls from local health organisations and a raffle with fantastic prizes. Fun for all the family and you will be supporting Mind in Brackley and Mental Health Friends.


EVENLEY GARDEN SOCIETY

Tuesday 15th April from 8:00pm Evenley Village Hall

Join Evenley Garden Society for their monthly talk on “Garden Design: Tips and Tricks” by Pip Smith, garden designer and lecturer

Members £3, visitors £4 (cash, no cards). All are welcome. Raffle and refreshments after the talk


EASTER EGG...STRAVAGANZA!

Join the folks at The Venue for some egg-citing fun! Easter crafts, egg hunt and face painting.
