Brackley Jubilee Choir's forthcoming Easter Concert at St Peter’s Church, Brackley, on 23rd March 2024 at 7.30pm.
This Easter Concert provides an opportunity to celebrate notable anniversaries for both Gabriel Faure (1845-1924) and Anton Bruckner (1824-1896), both highly regarded amongst the most pre-eminent and influential composers of all time, by performing Faures Requiem & Cantique de Jean Racine plus a selection of choral pieces from Bruckner’s expansive catalogue of sacred music.
They are looking forward to this event and they are privileged to have Jonathan Clinch, Organist at the Royal Academy of Music accompanied by Soprano Soloist, Lydia Bruton and Baritone Soloist, Michael Fergison joining the choir for the evenings concert programme.
They again welcome their growing concert attendees, together with the St Peter’s congregation and those from other local churches, along with people who often travel to our concerts from the wider Brackley, NN13 and NN12 areas – ie Towcester, Banbury and as far as Northampton, Milton Keynes and Oxford.
