TEDDY BEAR’S PICNIC

Tuesday 1st August and Thursday 3rd August 10:00am – 12:00noon Brackley Library

Join Brackley Elves for a couple of special morning of rhymes, stories and fun. The elves will be taking over Brackley Library Rhyme times and Storystomps but there will also be a teddy hunt, cakes and biscuits, spin the wheel and more. Please feel free to bring a blanket and a picnic to enjoy the library garden.

WEEKLY WEDNESDAY MINI -WOMBLE

Wednesday 2nd , 16th and 30th August 10:00-11:00 Meet at Poppyfields Park

Wednesday 9th and 23rd August 10:00-12:00 Meet at Brackley Library

Join Brackley Litter Wombles for a short litter pick during the school holiday. We will alternate between the town centre and The Poppyfields Estate. Children are highly encouraged to join us. Please wear sensible shoes!


SNYE BRACKLEY PLAY & ACTIVITY DAY

Wednesday 2nd August 11:00am – 3:00pm Brackley Town Park

Free entrance and activities. Fun for all the family. All ages welcome.

Activities include face painting, rodeo bull, junk modelling with Art Avalance, go karts, inflatable obstacle course, bungee run, giant bubbles, body zorbing, Muddy Feet nature play, police car, football, music and lots more!


BIKE NIGHT AT THE LION

Wednesday 2nd August from 5:00pm The Red Lion, Brackley

Come along to the monthly Bike night at The Lion, Brackley running the first Wednesday of every month. Event starting at 5pm (pub open from 12). All bikers will have full access to free & safe ride in parking in the courtyard. BBQ available from 5pm

*This is an open event to all members of the public with or without a bike*


CREATION CLUB

Every Thursday and Saturday throughout August 10:30am-11:30am Brackley Library

A free craft session for children aged 4+ with a new craft to make each week. Throughout summer, Grandad Ken and Estelle will have a selection of new craft and previous Creation Club crafts for children to revisit or try something new. All children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.


FAMILY DAY

After the huge success of last month’s family event, The Lion have another even BIGGER family day with fun, food and music!


BRACKLEY LITTER WOMBLES COMMUNITY LITTER PICK

Saturday 19th August 10:00am -12:00noon starting from Brackley Library

Brackley Litter Wombles would love you to join them in their fourth community litter pick!

Today they will be tackling the Buckingham Road Industrial Estate. Please wear sensible footwear.


HOLIDAY CLUB

21st - 25th August St Peter’s Church

Each August St. Peter’s Church run a holiday club for children of primary school age focussed on fun, friendship and faith. These are full of activities, games and age-appropriate Christian teaching. Pop up shops have come to Brackley and will run the last Saturday of the month throughout 2023.

With a rotation of Brackley small businesses, pop along to Alexander & Co to support some of the wonderful businesses of Brackley.



BRACKLEY CHARTER FAIR

Thursday 7th – Sunday 9th September (times below) Market Square, Brackley

Wilson’s Amusements are proud to be returning to Brackley for the annual charter fair

Open Thursday and Friday from 5pm and Saturday from 1.30pm until late.

There will be a range of rides and attractions for all the family including extreme ride, family rides and juveniles for the children. There will also be games stalls and food outlets offering a range of fun fair favourites and sweet treats. Most rides and attractions take cards and cash.

RIDE AND STRIDE

Saturday 9th September St. Peter’s Church

Ride & Stride is a great way to enjoy getting out and about as well as raising much-needed funds through sponsorship. You can walk, cycle or even ride your horse between participating churches.
