CREATION CLUB QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE SPECIAL – MAKE YOUR OWN TIARA
Saturday 28th May 10:30am – 11:30pm Brackley Library
Join Creation Club for a special craft where we'll be making tiaras to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!
Once you've made yours you'll be ready to wear it to any special celebrations across the week. This is a free event and Grandad Ken and Estelle look forward to seeing lots of you there!
QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE – BUNTING CRAFT
Monday 30th May 2:00pm – 4:00pm Brackley Library
We're calling for budding crafters of all ages to join us for an afternoon of bunting making so that we can decorate the library ready for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!
There will be an adult's table and a children's table with craft resources available for you to decorate a paper template or you could knit/crochet your own pieces of bunting. We will join them together after the event and use them to decorate the library for the week ahead!
Feel free to bring any of your own craft resources along, we'd love to see as many people as possible!
COFFEE AND COMPANY – CREAM TEA JUBILEE SPECIAL

QUEEN’S JUBILEE WEEKEND

Celebrate the Queen's Jubilee at Stowe!
On Thursday 2nd, Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th June, we will celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee by running Royal themed activities at Stowe House.
Whilst on a tour of the house, look out for the
blue plaques which will tell you fascinating facts all about Royal
visitors to Stowe through the years.
In our Discovery Centre, we
will have a display about Queen Elizabeth II visit to Stowe in
2007.
We will have a children's royal trail running in the
house, where they can do some fun activities and discover some
interesting Royal facts along the way. Once complete, they can claim
their Jubilee prize at the visitor centre.
Free - Children's
craft activities on the South Front lawn - learn how to draw a corgi,
make your own crown and create some bunting to help us decorate the
house.
Free - Every hour (from 11.00 until 15.00) we will be
doing 15 min talks about Royal visitors to Stowe on the South Front
steps. From Georgian Princes to our current Monarch - discover some
of the fascinating stories of Royal visitors to Stowe.

CELEBRATE BUCKINGHAM DAY

Tonnes of fun, food and community spirit - join us at Celebrate Buckingham Day on Thursday 2nd June in Bourton Park.
Free Bouncy Castle and Bungee Run, Jubilee dress through the ages contest, help create our video time capsule, tasty food, music and plenty of free activities to try, led by local community groups and charities.
Our food traders include ice cream and burgers as well as instaworthy grilled cheese. Musical entertainment from Winslow Concert Band and Buckingham Ukelele group.
BRACKLEY PLATINUM JUBILEE FESTIVAL
Thursday 2nd June 3:00pm -11:00pm Brackley Rigby Club
Bank holiday celebrations will kick off with a spectacular one off FREE ENTRY event suitable for the whole family. Live music and kid's entertainment will begin at 15:00 and lead into the evening/night time. At 21:45, the official lighting of the beacon will take place on the mound at the Rugby Club. A variety of catering and bars will also be available at the event. Please bear in mind that there will be no parking at this event. Whistley 2000 Scout Group will be bringing you their fantastic BBQ with Smith & Clay Butchers Burgers, Jumbo Hot Dogs, Vegan Choices and the Fabulous Sausage Rolls & Cornish Pasties from Butler's Pies. 5th Brackley Scout Group will also be running a delicious tuck shop to keep those sugar levels high!

BRACKLEY JUBILEE CROWN MAKING WORKSHOPS
Friday 3rd June 10:00am, 12:00noon and 2:00pm Egerton Hall
Come along to Brackley Town Council’s ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ป ๐บ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ๐ where they will have everything you need to create your own Platinum Jubilee crown ahead of the weekend celebrations. Arts, crafts and crowns will be provided.

U3A TRADITIONAL DANCING AND SINGING
Friday 3rd June 10:00am – 12:00noon Brackley Town Hall
FREE ENTRY. A morning of traditional dancing mainly from the Georgian era and singing for fun with songs from around the British Isles. Everybody is invited to watch both groups, whilst having lots of fun, laughter and a chat! Demonstrations will be held in the Civic Hall.

Come along and join in the fun at this year's Brackley Community Carnival. There is something for the whole family to enjoy and a perfect opportunity for us to come together as a community to celebrate. The carnival procession will leave from Bracken Leas School at 11:00 and arrive at Magdalen College School – St John Site at 12:00. Whether you are taking part in the procession, dancing in the arena, having a stall or enjoying watching the arena acts with a picnic, this is a great day out! TOWCESTER PLATINUM JUBILEE FAYRE
Saturday 4th June 11:00am – 5:00pm Towcester Recreation Ground
A fun community event, to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, on Towcester Recreation Ground, organised by a collaboration of local voluntary organisations, led by the Rotary Club of Towcester.
A wide variety of stalls, activities and entertainment to be held on the Recreation Ground.

Please join us for an outdoor Thanksgiving Service on the Jubilee Sunday. There will be short service led by the Churches of Brackley, songs of praise style, to reflect and give thanks for HM The Queen's 70 year reign and her Jubilee themes of 'Hope and Service'. Residents are then encouraged to continue the celebrations by joining in the Jubilee BIG lunch, by sharing a picnic in the park or returning to your own Street Parties. Bring your own picnic!
