It’s a week for teddies with events on at Stowe and also keep your eyes open as BRACKLEY ELVES GO TEDDYTASIC!
TEDDIES ON TOUR STOWE
Thursday 5th August 10:30-12:00, Stowe House
Treat your favourite soft toy to a grand tour of Stowe House. Listen to a story in the grand library, look for animals in the marble hall and move your body in the music room. Bring a picnic along and finish the tour with lunch on the front lawn.

THE BLAKESLEY SHOW

A rural and traditional event, The Blakesley Show hosts an array of livestock and trade exhibitors - there is so much to see and do!
Stop by the Michael Graham hospitality area, say hello and relax - we'll be serving refreshments in our seating area throughout the day.

LITTER PICK
Saturday 7th August 10:00am-12:00 noon, start at Brackley Library
As part of the this year's Summer Reading Challenge the library are asking your children to become Brackley Wild World Heroes by helping to keep our town free from litter.
Pop along to the library at 10:00 with a bin bag and some gloves! Wear a superhero outfit or fairy wings if you wish! Look out for three Brackley Elf fairies.

BRACKLEY TEDDY BEAR FESTIVAL
Tuesday 10th August – 10am-2pm. Brackley Park
Organised by Brackley Elves and Brackley Town Council and joined by Brackley Community Radio.
Bring your teddies, picnics and join us for the ultimate teddy bear event in Brackley Park. Lots of teddy bear fun including; teddy bear hunt and trail, teddy bear parachuting, teddy bear stories and rhymes, cake stalls, tombola and lots more!
All proceeds from this festival will be shared between Breast Cancer Now and the Mayor of Brackley charities.
Pre-booked activities
· 10am – 11 am £3 per child: Rhymes, ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ story followed by a bear hunt for under 5s. Price includes a bear related gift.
· 1pm – 2pm £2 per child: Kite making activities suitable for over 5s.

CYANOTYPING AT STOWE
Wednesday 11th August 11:00am-1:00pm and 2:30pm – 4:30pm, Stowe House
Join Stowe house for an experimental art-making workshop inspired by the beauty and history of Stowe House. Try your hand at cyanotyping - a Victorian era invention and cousin of photography. Capture images using sunlight, a careful mix of chemicals and water.

THE LAUGHING SAINT COMEDY CLUB

Brand new comedy night in Brackley!
Brackley Town Football Club are hosting The Laughing Saint Comedy Club at the Venue, this will be the first of a monthly event featuring well-known and up-and-coming comedians on the circuit.
The first one on Thursday 19th August features Comedy Store regular Alistair Barrie, Karen Bayley, David Ward and Paul Revil.
